So the order has been placed and the Iconia A500 is due on or around the 15th April.

I’ve been looking for a tablet for a while and was really interested in the Notion Ink Adam and having missed the first pre-order I was all ready for PO2 but they ran out if LCD before I could order. Since then I’ve kept up to date with all of the problem and my desire for the NI Adam has left me so it was time to look elsewhere.

After looking into the ipad2, Xoom, the fourth coming Toshiba Tab and the Acer I finally decided on the Acer due to the full range of features and the sleek looks.

It doesn’t seem to be getting the same press as the Xoom but has as good if not better features.

For those not yet in the know here’s some of the high level specs:

It’s everything I was looking for in a tablet so here I’ll keep you up to date with my wait for the Iconia A500 and try to get the word out on this tab.
